Coastal Track and Trail Runners would like to invite you to the Elephant Trail Race. The 25-27 kilometre Mt Cairncross course, with approximately 1455 metre elevation per lap. ETR offers participants a choice of distances catering for both the novice and Ultra Distance Runner. Distances of 200 kilometres, 160 kilometres, 100 kilometres, 50 kilometres, 25 kilometres and 13 kilometres, five kilometres and a free Kids Race 2.5 kilometres.
Elephant Trail Race attracts ITRA points for six of its eight races. 200 kilometres - Six Points, 160 kilometres - Six Points, 100 kilometres - Five Points, 50 kilometres- Three Points, 25 kilometres - One Point.
The ETR Race is only a short distance from Port Macquarie, Wauchope and Telegraph Point in the beautiful Hastings Area. All racing will take place in Cairncross State Forest.
You will travel through the State Forest and NSW Crown Lands and land of the traditional owners, the Birpai People....
